Try some surfing lessons or surfboard hire, visit the ‘Surf City Surf Shops’ (home of Ripcurl & Quicksilver), or even visit Torquay ‘Surfworld’ Surfing Museum for a bit of surfing history.
The Great Ocean Road is on our doorstep and there are many great coffee shops, pubs and restaurants with great views, all within a short drive.
Try lunch at Bellbrae Estate. It’s family and pet friendly, so the kids can run around outside while you indulge in award-winning local wine and produce.
The Great Ocean Road Chocolaterie and Ice Creamery runs regular classes that are sure to please all ages.
Anglesea Golf Course (complete with 100’s of resident kangaroos), pubs, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants, day spas, and wineries & only 30 minutes from Avalon Airport (home to Jetstar airline).
